CIPREM - Problem Reporting Module |
Despite its long name, CIPREM is simply the way in which external users (citizens or organizations) can report problems on the network. It consists of a single page with a map where users can identify the problematic point and locate it with a single map click. They can then enter any details or more information about the problem, and enter their contact details. If they supply an email address, users will also get automatic updates by email on the re-instatement progress. They can also use the [Fault History] tab to get the full history of the fault and its current status. Click on the image above to view it in full screen Members of the public can also track the progress of the fault they reported on-line, by simply entering the ID of the fault to display the history and current status of the fault. When the CIPREM module is installed, an additional tab appears the main MAMS screen which lists the defects reported by external users. MAMS users can then view the details of the problem and place into into the active "defect pool" either as a brand new defect or "merge" it with an existing one. All such actions are recorded and a full historical record is kept.
